ACKNOWLEDGMENT
This book is the result of the efforts of many very obliging
people who contributed so much of their time and effort in
helping Mrs. Bruce Watson and me to gather the data for this
book and to them we are indeed most grateful. The list is
just too numerous to mention by name, however, we thank them
all and I wish here to express my thanks to Mrs. Watson
(Carolyn Dekle) and to all the Dekle and Dekle descendants,
I want you to know that this book is the combined efforts of
Mrs. Watson and myself. Without Mrs. Watson’s help, I could
not have assembled all the data within the book. Agreed,
that I did contact a lot of people individually and spoke at
some Dekle reunions, wrote numerous letters, etc., but the
real worker, the brains behind the program and the one that
accomplished by far the most was Mrs. Watson - therefore,
we all owe her a debt of gratitude and should be forever
grateful for her most unselfish contribution. Last but not
the least, I thank my patient wife for putting up with me
for the many hours that I was away from her working on this
program and for her assistance in preparation of the copy
for the printer.
